Bernadette Koch will no longer stand for re-election to the Swiss Post Board of Directors in May 2027

The Swiss Post General Meeting elected Bernadette Koch to the Board of Directors in November 2018. She has also been Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors since 2022. After almost eight years, Bernadette Koch has decided not to stand for re-election to the Swiss Post Board of Directors in May 2027. This follows her election to the Board of Directors of Luzerner Kantonalbank. A business economist by training and certified auditor, she stated: “After many intensive and exciting years with Swiss Post as a member of the Board of Directors, I have decided to realign my portfolio. Now is the right time to do so. I’m grateful to have been able to support a unique company in its development. A company that plays an important role throughout Switzerland every day. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Christian Levrat and my colleagues on the Board of Directors for their trust and the excellent collaboration over the years.”

Christian Levrat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Post, regrets Bernadette Koch’s decision and wishes her all the best in her new role: “With Bernadette Koch’s departure, we are losing an extremely committed, competent and forward-thinking member of the Board of Directors. Her analytical insight, her keen audit expertise and her strategic understanding have made a lasting contribution to our work. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank her for her many years of commitment to Swiss Post.”

The search for a successor will begin in the next few weeks. The appointment will be made at the General Meeting on 4 May 2027.
