Responsible procurement
For us, responsible procurement means setting clear requirements for our suppliers. We are also strengthening the integration of environmental, social and governance aspects in our supply chain.
What we have achieved so far
Due diligence process established
We systematically analyse risks, define measures and continuously monitor their effectiveness.
Sustainability integrated
Sustainability criteria are part of procurement and are integrated into tenders.
Whistleblowing platform established
Potential breaches of our Supplier Code of Conduct for Responsible Procurement can be reported anonymously and confidentially.
Suppliers informed
Our suppliers receive information about our sustainability goals, the Supplier Code of Conduct, performance ratings and supplier development.
Our priorities
Fair supply chains
We want to give greater consideration to social and environmental requirements throughout the supply chain, from supplier selection to collaboration.
Human rights
We aim to identify risks of human rights violations in the supply chain more effectively and implement appropriate measures.
Climate protection
We are gradually reducing emissions in the supply chain and aligning our activities with Swiss Post’s climate targets.
Circular economy
We promote approaches that conserve resources, extend the useful life of products and strengthen circular processes in procurement.
Responsible supply chains
Supplier Code of Conduct
Requirements relating to the environment, society and governance.
Management cycle for human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD)
The management cycle describes how we systematically identify, assess and address risks in our supply chain. We follow the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct.
Policy statement and anchoring
The Supplier Code of Conduct for Responsible Procurement forms the basis for collaboration with our suppliers. Clearly defined responsibilities ensure its implementation.
Risk analysis
We identify areas where action is needed. We classify risks according to their likelihood and potential impact.
