Swiss Post has successfully appointed Deborah Murith to the vacant position of Head of Communication. Murith has wide-ranging experience of management in public administration and in the private sector and will take up her position on 1 October 2024. Deborah Murith is currently a Member of the Executive Board of McDonald’s Switzerland, where she has worked as Head of Corporate Communications, among other things.
Deborah Murith has been a member of the Executive Board of McDonald’s Switzerland since 2017, where she has held various key roles – first as Head of the Corporate Relations Department, as Director of the Ronald McDonald Children’s Foundation and most recently as Chief People Officer. Her previous positions in public administration include Head of Communications at the Basel Cantonal Department of Education, Culture and Sport and Deputy Head of Communications and Media Spokesperson at the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM). Deborah Murith studied communication and speaks French, Italian and English fluently in addition to German. She lives in the Canton of Lucerne.
