Swiss Post and price regulator agree on price adjustments from 2027

Falling letter volumes are increasing the economic pressure on Swiss Post: key sources of revenue are declining, while the costs for nationwide infrastructure remain largely unchanged. Swiss Post bears a significant part of the financial burden itself by simplifying its processes and continually improving its efficiency. As this cannot fully offset the decline in volumes, Swiss Post and the price regulator have agreed moderate price adjustments for three years. From 2027, an A Mail letter will cost 1.40 francs and a B Mail letter 1.10 francs. The parcel prices for private customers and SMEs will remain unchanged.
