Postage stamp fund: supporting culture and social projects
Every special stamp sold with a surcharge helps preserve culture and strengthen social cohesion.
With the postage stamp fund, we support cultural and social projects in Switzerland. The fund is financed by part of the surcharge on special stamps.

What the postage stamp fund makes possible
Promoting culture
We support projects that make cultural diversity visible and accessible.
Strengthening social causes
We support projects with social value that benefit people in Switzerland.
Creating impact across Switzerland
The fund supports projects from different regions and language communities.
How the postage stamp fund works
Special stamps with a surcharge cost more than standard postage. The additional amount goes towards a good cause.
Most of the surcharge is paid to independent non-profit organizations such as Pro Juventute or Pro Patria.
A further part – 10% of the surcharge – goes to Swiss Post’s postage stamp fund.
With these funds, we support cultural and social projects throughout Switzerland. In this way, we combine philately with social benefit.
Small contributions, big impact
These funds help to:
- implement cultural projects;
- make culture accessible to a broad audience;
- strengthen community spaces and opportunities for social participation.
