Swiss Post punctual in 2023
Letters, parcels and newspapers arrived on time in 2023. That’s the conclusion drawn from measurements of mail delivery times in Switzerland. To ensure that the figures remain clear in the long term, the measurement methodology for letters and parcels was adjusted in line with regulatory requirements in 2023, as agreed with the Federal Postal Services Commission (PostCom).

Letters on time…
Swiss Post delivered 1.64 billion letters in 2023. 97.3 percent of A Mail letters and 99.5 percent of B Mail letters reached the country’s letter boxes on time. These figures comply with the legal provisions. This means that the quality target set out in law has been achieved.

Parcel delivery was also punctual: 95.7 percent of Priority parcels and 99.6 percent of Economy parcels were delivered on time, in compliance with the law. Targets were met once again.
