“pro clima” label
We are firmly committed to achieving our net-zero target. Avoiding and reducing emissions remains our top priority. At the same time, we take responsibility for the emissions that we have not yet been able to reduce on our path to net zero. Against this background and in view of legal requirements, we are reviewing the “pro clima” label and the related communication.
What is this about?
In recent years, we have made significant progress towards achieving our climate target. Consistently avoiding and reducing emissions, particularly in our own operations, clearly remains our top priority.
At the same time, we take responsibility for emissions that have not yet been reduced on our path to net zero. To do this, we are building a portfolio of solutions that permanently remove CO₂ from the atmosphere and store it. We also continue to support selected climate protection projects.
In view of our overall climate target and the experience we have gained in this area, we are considering adjustments to the “pro clima” label, which was introduced in 2009, and to the related communication. The requirements of the Federal Act on Unfair Competition (UCA) are another reason for this review.

Our path to net zero
We reduce CO₂ emissions in logistics and passenger transport. We continue to develop our buildings and energy supply. We also take responsibility for emissions that have not yet been reduced.
