Report suspicious messages, websites or calls in Swiss Post's name. If you've already clicked on a link or entered data, take action immediately.
Report suspicious e-mails or websites
Report suspicious e-mails or websites to the Federal Office for Cybersecurity (BACS). You can also forward suspicious e-mails to reports@antiphishing.ch.
If possible, forward the e-mail as an attachment to ensure that the important technical information is retained.
Delete the suspicious message once you've reported it. That way, you won't open the link later by mistake.
What should I do if I've already clicked on a link or entered data?
Close the website. Don't enter any data or download any apps or files. Use up-to-date security software or a recognized online security check (e.g. ibarry.ch from the Swiss Internet Security Alliance (SISA)) to check if your system has been affected by malware.
Change any affected passwords immediately – including wherever you reuse them – and check your accounts for unusual activity.
If you have a "My Post" account, change your access and e-mail passwords in the Customer portal.
Block the affected cards or payment methods immediately. Change the passwords concerned and check payments, logins and changes. Never share SMS codes, TANs or security codes in future.
If your PostFinance account is affected, follow PostFinance's Procedure in the event of suspected fraud. For other financial institutions, please follow their individual instructions.
I've suffered damages
If you've suffered financial damages or if your personal data has been misused, report the incident to your cantonal police force.
In some cantons, you can also report certain cybercrimes online via Suisse ePolice.
